Art Projects-- Here's the skinny on these. I am normally very excellent at daily art projects. I'm willing to say that art projects are the thing I am the most consistent about. When I have someone who actually wants to do one with me, that is. Here's the issue: My Josh is pretty much the center of the universe around here and if he doesn't want to do one the other kids normally follow suit and go wherever he has wandered off to. Josh has unfortunately decided he isn't that interested in putting down the toys for anything lately and consequently he is leading everyone else away with him. I'm going to keep planning the projects and offering them, maybe the kids will come back around. Mostly they've just wanted to play though. Time will tell, I suppose.
By the way-- I killed my old lap top and I am now using one that belongs to Matt. That means until he teaches me how to add my camera and my printer to this computer we'll just have to do without those. You'll have to imagine how cute your kids were today instead of seeing the proof. Now that business is out of the way let's get back to the fun!
As I was saying, Hot Dog! O the games that can come out of the four year old mind. The boys decided they were going to pick one boy to be the hot dog then the others were going to chase him and pretend to eat him. Does that sound fun to you? It was fun for them for a LONG time. I got plenty of time to play peek-a-boo with Ava. It was great.
Tyler said "Ouchie" today. He fell. He was pretty sad. I was sad for him. But- it was the first time I've heard himsay "ouchie" Complete silver lining.
Alex P. had his brthday yesterday. Happy Birthday Kid!
Kiara was being her goofy self this afternoon, what great news! I think she was feeling better today than last week. She would look up at me then laugh, I started to laugh at her laughing which was funnier for her. We were feeding off each others giggles.
Chase fell and bonked his head over the weekend and had to get a bandaid. He kept telling me today, "Mommy got me a Batmean bandaid!" Problem solved, I suppose.
Mr. Emmett slept most of the day.
